Learning to read simple sounds
The beginning reader is progressively introduced to simple sounds, one by one. He or she only needs to learn 8 letter-sounds to read their first book!

- The vowels: a-e-i-o-u-y
- Sounds that lengthen: s-j-f-r-z-v-m-l-n
