Express
Perfect for advanced young readers or those looking for a challenge

The Express collection was developed to help children, with the support of their parents, learn to read more quickly. Ten books present all the sounds for each level.
This is also suitable for children in class who have a strong reading ability but need more of a challenge. The child should be able to read approximately 80% of the words in each book independently. The parent should support the child in reading certain high-frequency words. With good support, the child can learn to read more quickly.
Step by step
For structured and personalized reading instruction

The Step-by-Step collection was developed for teaching reading in the classroom or for learners with difficulties. With 20 to 40 books, all the sounds at each level are covered. Featuring equally interesting stories, the sounds are introduced more gradually, with only one new sound per book. You can use the books in the order that suits you or follow the suggested sequence. A learning progression, developed in consultation with researchers and teachers, allows for the explicit and systematic teaching of sounds. The child should be able to read 100% of the words in the Step 1 books and 99% of the words in the Step 2 books independently. This ensures that each child has the tools to learn at their own pace.
Discover the most systematic decodable books ever designed!
Each level is divided into three stages: a, b and c.

1. Books a - J’apprends
Start here. Each book introduces only one new sound. For example, each book in Step 2a uses only the simple sounds from Step 1 and one new compound sound from Step 2. You can use the books in the order that suits you or follow the suggested sequence.

2. Books b - Je révise
Next. Continue with these books to reinforce the new sounds as the child learns them. Each book reviews 1 to 3 new sounds introduced in series a - I'm learning from the corresponding step.

3. Books c - Je consolide
Finish here. Strengthen what was learned by offering fiction and non-fiction books on different topics that help practice the new skills. Each book uses all the sounds from the step to get the child used to reading the sounds in different settings.
